Semi Automatic Incubator

The eggs are set on a try inside the Corti incubator with removable dividers so that several different sizes of egg can be incubated at the same time.

The Corti incubator has been factory set to operate at 37.8ºC (100ºF) at normal room temperature.

The Corti incubator is fan assisted to ensure an accurate temporature it maintained. A liquid in glass thermometer is situated in the clear top lid for monitoring the temperature.

Two water reservoirs are built into the base to enable the correct amount of water to be available during incubation and hatching. This is the semi-automatic model. Eggs are turned by use of a push/pull rod located on the external side of the incubator. 

As this incubator can be easily cleaned, it is ideally suited for use as a hatcher. Simply remove the egg dividers, fill the second water reservoir (and top up the first, if required) and stop turning three days before the hatch is due.

 If you intend to immediately set another batch of eggs, we recommend the use of a separate hatcher as this avoids excessive cleaning and eggs can if required be added on a weekly basis.

The Corti is very inexpensive to run with a power consumption of only 130w
